Williams International X-Jet and other Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) systems

A stunning array of technological innovations has been woven into the day-to-day fabric of early-21st-century life: clothing made from recycled plastic Coke bottles; phones that run on high-frequency microwave radiation; snack-food science capable of containing such unruly forms as s'mores and peanut butter and jelly within the confines of a toaster pastry. Yet for some of us, such marvels are slim compensation for the unrealized possibilities of another device, one promised throughout childhood and never delivered. Where are our jetpacks?

The iconography of the jetpack -- a rocket-powered backpack offering its user the power of solo flight -- stretches back to Buck Rogers comic strips of the late 1920's and recurs in Walt Disney's 1950's Tomorrowland, James Bond's gadget-filled films and the skyways of the city where the Jetsons make their home. By the early 1960's, the jetpack was such a familiar pop-culture image that it had become interchangeable with the very idea of the future -- to mention one was to invoke the other. Yet still we find ourselves, in the year 2000, traveling by conveyances of the last century rather than soaring happily above the treetops. What happened? Where are our jetpacks?

The WASP (Williams Aerial Systems Platform)

Williams X-Jet

The Williams X-Jet, created by Williams International, was a small, light-weight Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) system powered by a modified Williams F107 turbofan aircraft engine. This vehicle was nicknamed "The Flying Pulpit". It was designed to be operated by and carry one person and controlled by leaning in the direction of desired travel and adjusting the power. It could move in any direction, accelerate rapidly, hover, and rotate on its axis, staying aloft for up to 45 minutes and traveling at speeds up to 60 miles per hour (100 km/h). It was evaluated by the U.S. Army in the 1980s, and was deemed inferior to the capabilities of helicopters and small unmanned aircraft.
Other VTOL systems developed by Williams International included a jet-powered flying belt developed in 1969, which was powered by a Williams WR19 turbofan, and the WASP (Williams Aerial Systems Platform) developed in the 1970s, which was powered by the more powerful WR19-9.

Hiller VZ-1 Pawnee

The Hiller VZ-1 Pawnee (U.S. Army designation; earlier Army designation: HO-1) was a unique direct lift rotor aircraft, using contra-rotating ducted fans inside a platform that the single pilot stood upon for lift, and controlled by the pilot shifting his body weight around to tilt the platform. The platform was developed starting in 1953 under an Office of Naval Research contract to Hiller Aircraft Corporation, and flew successfully starting in 1955.

Hiller VZ-1

The original concept had been developed by Charles H. Zimmerman in the late 1940s. Further elaboration followed, both by Hiller and the De Lackner Company.
There were two main models, the ONR model the 1031-A-1, and a somewhat larger VZ-1 Pawnee model produced in 1956 for the U.S. Army. Three of each model were built as prototypes. Neither of the variants was put into production.
The smaller models used two 44 horsepower Nelson H-59 piston engines. The larger models used three of the aforementioned engine and had an extended duct area. The largest variant had ineffective "kinesthetic control" and instead had the operator seated on a platform controlling the flight with conventional helicopter controlsDue to aerodynamic effects in the duct within which the propellers rotated, the platform was dynamically stable, even though the pilot and center of gravity of the platform were fairly high up. In testing, the prototypes flew well enough, but the U.S. Army judged them to be impractical as combat vehicles as they were small, limited in speed and only barely flew out of the ground cushion effect.
Two of the six prototypes are known to survive today — one ONR smaller model at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, California, and one VZ-1 Pawnee model at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. The latter craft was formerly on loan to the Pima Air Museum

The United States Army called them small rocket lift devices and began financing their development in the 1950's, intending to use them for amphibious troop landings, reconnaissance missions and passage over hazardous terrain. Early versions were ballyhooed, including Thiokol's Jump Belt and Aerojet-General's Aeropak, but the first major success was achieved in 1961, at Bell Aerosystems in Buffalo. The Rocket Belt, designed by engineer Wendell F. Moore, was a kind of hard-frame backpack powered by two hydrogen-peroxide fuel tanks (with long exhaust pipes trailing off on either side of the wearer) and controlled with motorcycle-like handgrips. Flying in a standing position, with knees slightly bent, users could achieve speeds of up to 60 miles an hour. One test pilot described the experience as "having a giant pick you up by the arms." But it wasn't very practical for wartime use: the pack was heavy; in flight it made a loud screeching noise; and fuel capacity limited the flight time to just over 20 seconds. So after demonstrating it for the military, Bell started flogging it at state fairs, Disneyland, the Paris Air Show and numerous international exhibitions, ultimately hiring it out for the opening sequence of "Thunderball," a commercial for P. F. Flyers sneakers and episodes of "Lost in Space" and "Bewitched."
Further refinements yielded the Flying Chair (1965), which mounted a Rocket Belt apparatus on one of Eero Saarinen's stylish Tulip chairs, and the Pogo (1968), which put the device on a flying platform.
In 1968 Bell, in collaboration with the Michigan-based contractor Williams Research Corporation, unveiled the Jet Belt, which used a miniature kerosene-powered jet engine. This device could accelerate to 70 m.p.h. from a hovering position in three seconds and was capable of sustained flight for 10 minutes. A test pilot told Popular Science magazine that the Jet Belt made him "feel safer than I do driving the family car in traffic." Of course, the jet engine was tremendously heavy and nearly deafening, but hopes for it were high. A year later, however, Wendell Moore, still the device's chief engineer, died of a heart attack. Subsequently the military declined to commission mass production of the Jet Belt, and in early 1970, Bell Aerosystems sold all related patents to Williams.
At Williams, the Jet Belt's engine became the centerpiece of the WASP, or Williams Aerial Systems Platform. Developed in two stages over the next 15 years, the WASP II was a 250-pound cylindrical tub resembling a flying garbage can. Hard as it is to believe, it could fly at speeds up to 60 m.p.h. for as long as 30 minutes.
The WASP II was featured in Jane's All the World's Aircraft as late as the 1984-1985 edition, but again the army, which had financed its development, lost interest. Further attempts by Williams to market it under the name X-Jet failed, and then . . . nothing. No more test flights, and a subsequent abandonment of individual flight systems. Today the company is curiously reticent on the subject: though jetpack fanatics continue to call with inquiries on a regular basis, a spokesman for Williams dismisses the issue as something from "the very old past."
Several years ago, Derwin M. Beushausen, an enthusiast from the Midwest, distributed a videotape of short films made by Bell that documented test flights of the Rocket Belt, Flying Chair, Pogo and Jet Belt. Like people Jet Skiing through the sky, Bell's implacable fliers slalom effortlessly through and over trees, zoom across whitecapped river rapids, whip alongside steep cliffs, float above warehouse roofs and hover over a lawn, turning slow rotations for a group of military observers. They are among the most thrilling, and also heartbreaking, images I've ever seen. I sit watching the tape and think only: Why? Why can't I fly one of those things?
"Jetpacks?" asks Frank Winter, curator of rocketry at the National Air and Space Museum. "I think here we call them Personal Lifting Devices," he says. The museum owns the Bell Aerosystems Rocket Belt No. 2, which is slated for display at the Dulles Center, in conjunction with the Smithsonian, scheduled to open in the year 2003. "People still call me about them every so often, but you know it was a commercial failure. It wasn't a practical reconnaissance device." Winter must sense how crestfallen I am. "It really was ingenious," he adds. "I'm not knocking it. You know, it's too bad that it wasn't picked up."
These days, the only new jetpacks are the ones worn by astronauts. NASA calls them M.M.U.'s, or manned maneuvering units: worn in a backpack configuration similar to the Rocket Belt, they use nitrogen fuel to propel and guide movement during spacewalk activity. In the earth's gravity, however, M.M.U.'s would be far too weak to function.
Rocket Belts, with their 20-second flight duration, are still used for show-business purposes; memorably, in 1984, millions watching the opening ceremonies of the summer Olympic Games witnessed a former Bell pilot, Bill Suitor, descending into the Los Angeles Coliseum, trailing clouds of white exhaust behind him. But all of the subsequent research and development has seemingly been for naught.
A note sent to me by Williams tersely explains that testing of the X-Jet was stopped when they concluded that "in order to make feasible more useful applications, [it] would require substantially improved performance from its turbofan engine." Winter agrees: "Even 30 minutes of flight time would be too limited for commercial purposes. If you're a park ranger, fighting a fire, what if you need 35 minutes, or two hours?" Still, he concedes that "if the right entrepreneur came along, it could be a neat attraction. We may not be looking at the last chapter with this sort of device."
So where are our jetpacks? Might they still be part of a future to come? The last line of my final communication from Williams holds out a sliver of hope. "Year by year," it says, "we are continuing to advance our turbofan technology." But if somehow, miraculously, we were to get them, would they prove to be more nightmare than dream -- as in the current television commercial for Budget Rent-a-Car, in which a jetpack user becomes hopelessly entangled in power lines? Were these devices easy to use and readily available, would our urban skies mirror the jammed rush-hour streets and freeways below? Though it saddens me to think so, maybe the answer is that jetpacks no longer exist in the future but behind us, receding into the past: a device for memory instead of flight.

Alien Artifact from the Museum of Extraterrestrial Remains

This Artifact from the Museum of Extraterrestrial Remains may be a metal meteorite or Space Probe with a message saying I do exist! The Alien probe would be the only efficient way to communicate across interstellar space traveling much farther than any radio waves that scatter after only two light years distance. Alien intelligence civilization may have already sent us one message that has struck Earth....

The hieroglyphic-petro glyph holographic alien message formation on display is a rare artifact and not of this earth. Assay of the recovered UFO artifact fragment shown has inexplicable properties of iron, nickel, graphite, silicate inclusions, cohenite and traversite. Also found are rare minerals called Enstatite and Tridymite. The material appears to have been artificially made with an estimated Age of 4,000,000,000 years old. The Ancient message from alien intelligence civilization was made one billion years before the planet earth came into existence.

This maybe the worst case scenario, a real object of alien bit- binary-data sequence composition from an alien civilization that no humans can comprehend even using the latest cryptanalysis, linguistic and statistical analysis. Here it is displayed with the alien symbols for anyone to see what appears to be a very decipherable message. The museum contains dozen s of strange objects. http://www.zteck.com/alien/museum.htm

Fears of water contamination in Fukushima grow

HUGE PLUTONIUM LEAKAGE LAND & SEA - Japan Fukushima Nuclear Reactor Meltdown

 Cesium top threat to seafood

The damaged Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant is contaminating seawater with heavy amounts of iodine-131 and other radioactive materials.
Here are questions and answers regarding the latest threat from the ongoing radiation leaks.

Where is the leak into the ocean coming from?
Tokyo Electric Power Co. said it hasn't tracked down how radioactive materials leaked into the sea. Tepco officials speculated Saturday that it was somehow flowing directly from the plant, because no radioactivity spikes were observed on site. There was also no rain that could have caused atmospheric concentrations of iodine and other radioactive substances to fall to the sea.

Are the leaks substantial?
The Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said Monday it detected radioactive iodine-131 about 30 meters from reactors No. 5 and 6, or about 1,150 times the government safety limit. This followed revelations Sunday that iodine-131 measured about 300 meters away from reactor No. 1 hit 1,850 times the limit, suggesting the leak is spreading.

How long will the leaks continue to effect the environment?
That depends on the half-life of the materials, which is the time it takes the radioactivity of a specific substance to decrease by half. Iodine-131's half-life is about eight days but the half-life of cesium-137 is about 30 years.
The massive iodine-131 leak will not only be diluted by the sea, but also by the time it takes to reach fish and other marine products, pundits say. This is because both materials are water-soluble.
But this all depends on how fast Tepco can determine the cause of the leak and stop the radioactive water from discharging. So far the utility appear to be clueless.

Is the level of the leaks safe?
NISA said people within 20 km of the nuclear plant have already evacuated, hence the seawater contamination does not pose any immediate threat to their health. Nuclear Safety Commission of Japan Chairman Haruki Madarame also said Saturday that radioactive particles "are diluted and spread out" in seawater, adding there is no harm in eating fish from the coast because the levels of contamination would be negligible.
So far the agencies' claims appear to be true.
According to a survey conducted 30 km off the Fukushima plant by the Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry, the level of iodine-131 has seen a substantial drop.

Where is the radioactive water likely to flow?
The Okhotsk current and Kuroshio current meet off the Pacific coast. Seawater off Fukushima Prefecture is pushed southbound by the Okhotsk current toward Chiba Prefecture. There it will meet the northward Kuroshio (Black) current, and the two will push whatever radioactive water they contain away from Honshu into the Pacific.

Which marine products are vulnerable?
A survey by Tokyo-based Marine Ecology Research Institute shows that cesium-137 tends to accumulate in larger fish near the top of the food chain.
While the radioactivity of iodine-131 will be halved every 8 days, that will not be the case for cesium-137 — which is raising concerns.

Have there been any signs of fish contamination similar to that of the vegetables around the area?
At this point, no. For example, Chiba Prefecture on Friday studied anchovies, mackerel, spear squid and flounder caught off its shores. None was found to have contamination over state standards.

Is the situation under control?
As of now it appears things are not out of hand, but circumstances may change considering the tons of water that have been sprayed on the reactors to cool them down, as well as the leaks that may be coming from the reactor cores, or the spent-fuel pools above them, and the dangerous radioactive materials involved.
"The radioactive particles will be diluted, and iodine-131 has a half-life of 8 days," Kanazawa University professor Seiya Nagao told The Japan Times, hinting it is not a major concern.
But the expert on environmental monitoring and radionuclides warned that cesium has a much longer half-life and often accumulates in fish meat. While iodine-131 concentrates in the thyroid gland and increases the risk of thyroid cancer, cesium-137, once ingested, is accumulated by muscle tissues in the human body.
Experts say this may increase the risk of cancer.
"Its hard to tell if everything is under control at this point."

Radioactive contamination of the sea from Fukushima is likely to be only a local problem, but could lead to an exclusion zone if there is a major release of long-term pollutants, scientists say.So far, the biggest contaminant identified by Japanese officials has been radioactive iodine 131.
Samples of water taken close to the plant have been as high as 1,850 times the legal limit of iodine, but levels have fallen back, Japanese officials said on Tuesday.
Radioactive iodine can enter the marine food chain, especially through seaweed, which absorbs this element readily.
"There is the potential, when you're talking about certain types of seafood, that you can have reconcentration," said Ed Lyman of the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), a respected US NGO that focuses on nuclear safety.
"So, even dilute levels of contamination can be enhanced in certain marine life, you know, just like mercury concentrates in large fish like tuna. Also, plants like seaweed are known to concentrate certain isotopes, and so are certain types of shellfish."
Radioactive elements are hazardous in food because when ingested their radiation can damage DNA in cells, with the potential to cause cancer.
However, the contamination from iodine 131 is short-lived because the element has a half life -- the pace at which it loses half of its radioactivity -- of only eight days.
"This means that after a few months, it will be harmless, basically," said Simon Boxall, a lecturer at Britain's National Oceanography Centre at the University of Southampton, southern England, who praised early measures to stop fishing around the plant after the March 11 disaster.
"What worries me more is if caesium and plutonium get into the system," he said, referring to two radioactive heavy metals whose half-lives are around 30 years and potentially thousands of years respectively.
"That's more concerning, because that can build up in the sediments" of the sea bed at Fukushima, said Boxall.
At high levels, this could lead to the imposition of an exclusion zone of catches of fish and seafood, a measure that could last "years and years," he said.
"It's hard to know (how long) until they start taking measurements and determine how extensive the pollution is.
"You would basically not fish in an exclusion zone, period. And beyond the exclusion zone there would be an additional zone where you would come from time to time and see if there's any radioactivity."
Fukushima's plant operator, the Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), reported on Saturday that levels of caesium were almost 80 times the legal maximum. On Monday it also said that plutonium, at very low and harmless levels, had been found at five locations in soil at the plant.
Given the scale of the Pacific -- the world's vastest body of water -- radioactivity in the sea at Fukushima will be flushed out beyond the local area by tides and currents and dilute to very low levels, Boxall said.
"It will get into the (ocean) food chain but only in that vicinity," he said. "Should people in Hawaii and California be concerned? The answer is no."
The Pacific, thanks to its size, is one of the cleanest seas in the world for radioactive contamination, according to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Massachusetts.
In 1990, radiation in the surface North Pacific was four becquerels of caesium 137 per cubic metre, while in the South Pacific it was 1.6 Bq/m3, it says. Most of it came from atmospheric nuclear tests before these blasts were stopped.
The most polluted seas were the Baltic, hit by fallout from the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, with 125 Bq/m3; the Irish Sea, with 55 Bq/m3 due to radioactive releases from Britain's Sellafield plant; and the Black Sea, also contaminated by Chernobyl, with 52 Bq/m3.
By comparison, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets a maximum of 3,700 Bq/m3 of caesium in drinking water.

Fears of Fukushima nuclear contamination grow as tap water banned in Japan

The North Pacific Ocean Another Dead Zone?

The International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA has indicated that cesium-137 which falls into a half life of an extended 30 years is the most relevant isotope of concern at the moment, (whereas Plutonium Mox Mixture from the cracked leaking Unit 3 will knock off an entire population) and that the possibility of distribution by sea will travel over a long distance within months to several years before the circulated isotope that was discharged into the seawater makes a landfall on other shores off of the Pacific further implicating the contamination risk for an already troubled Fishing Industry.

Radioactive Materials Found in Japanese Seawater Sampling:

Japanese authorities today reported data on radiation samples collected 30 kilometres off shore of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant on 24 March, and the levels of iodine-131 and cesium-137 showed slight variations from data collected at the same locations on 23 March A vessel from the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) collected water samples at eight points 30 kilometres from the coastline and found measurable concentrations of iodine-131 and cesium-137. The iodine concentrations measured were about at Japanese regulatory limits, and the cesium levels were well below those limits.
The IAEA's Marine Environmental Laboratory in Monaco has received the data and offered this preliminary analysis:
Dilution, both into deeper layers and by dispersion along the prevailing ocean currents will lead to a rapid decrease of the initial surface contamination.
For the short term, iodine-131 will be the relevant radionuclide as far as doses are concerned, but for the long term, cesium-137 will be the more important radionuclide in the marine environment. It will be possible to follow this nuclide over long distances for several years.
It can be expected that radionuclides will take months or years to reach other shores of the Pacific. The main transport of contamination takes place by atmospheric transport over long distances.
Discharge to seawater:

Results revealed on 22 March from a sample taken by TEPCO circa 100 meters south of the discharge channel of units 1-4 showed elevated levels of Cs-137, Caesium-134 (Cs-134) and I-131. A sample of seawater taken on 22 March 330 meters south of the discharge channel (30 kilometers off the coast line) had elevated levels of I-131 and Cs-137. Also north of the plant elevated levels of these ions were found (as well as Cs-134, Tellurium-129 (Te-129) and Tellurium-129m (Te-129m)), although the levels were lower. Samples taken one and/or two days later contained circa 80 Bq/L of iodine-31 26 Bq/L and caesium-137, most likely caused by atmospheric deposition. Furthermore, sea water containing measurable levels of iodine-131 and cesium-137 were collected by Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) on 22-23 March at several points 30 kilometres from the coastline Iodine concentrations were "at or above Japanese regulatory limits" while caesium was "well below those limits" according to an IAEA report on 24 March.

Effects on drinking water:

The safe level for iodine-131 and caesium137 in drinking water in Japan are 100 Bq/kg and 200 Bq/kg respectively. The Japanese science ministry said on 20 March that radioactive substances were detected in tap water in Tokyo, as well as Tochigi, Gunma, Chiba, Saitama prefectures. On March 23, Tokyo drinking water exceeded the safe level for infants, prompting the government to distribute bottled water to families with infants Measured levels were caused by iodine-131  (I-131) and were 103, 137 and 174 Bq/l. On 24 March, iodine-131 was detected in 12 of 47 prefectures, of which the level in Tochizi was the highest at 110 Bq/kg. Caesium-137 was detected in 6 prefectures but always below 10 Bq/kg. On March 25, tap water was reported to have reduced to 79 Bq/kg] and to be safe for infants in Tokyo and Chiba but still exceeded limits in Hitachi and Tokaimura. IAEA reported on 24 March that drinking water in Tokyo, Fukushima and Ibaraki had been above regulatory limits between 16 and 21 March.

'Fifth Symphony' by Beethoven destroys cancer cells

From Study of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro
A 'Fifth Symphony' by Beethoven is one of the most famous compositions of classical music and, according to a new Brazilian study, may help cure cancer. The survey, conducted by the Program Oncobiology Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, analyzed MCF-7 cells, which are linked to breast cancer. By exposing these cells to the famous theme, one in five eventually died, which enthusiastically involved.
The study, which began in May 2010, is to allow them to develop new prospects for cure of malignant tumors, using tones and frequencies, explains the newspaper 'O Globo'.
Already on the official unit Oncobiology univesidade of that, the charge of the study, Marcia Capella, states that have already used other musical compositions, Masner always with the same results.
"We began our work using three compositions: Sonata for 2 Pianos in D Major" by Mozart [known to cause the 'Mozart effect', a temporary increase in spatial-temporal reasoning of an individual], the 'Fifth Symphony' Beethoven and 'Atmosphères' [the Hungarian György Ligeti], a contemporary composition, which is characterized mainly by the absence of a melodic line that reflects the theme, "he says.
According to expert, the composition of Mozart, caused no change in cells, but the Beethoven and Ligeti have killed an average of 20% of them, besides the "decrease in size and granularity."
The fact that Mozart did not provoke any reaction is to scare those responsible, since his compositions are among the most widely used in music therapy.
"We still need better study the mechanisms of these effects, ie: because only some cell types are sensitive to these songs? And why only some specific types of music cause effects? We tested also with MDCK, a cell non-tumorigenic, and lymphocytes, and they never responded to these sound stimuli, "admits Marcia Capella.
The aim is to use sound frequencies as the healing process instead of other more violent as radiotherapy.

Beethoven's 5th Symphony

The strategy, which seems strange at first, seeks to find ways more efficient and less toxic cancer-fighting: Instead of radiotherapy, one day you could imagine the use of frequencies. The study was innovative in using music therapy beyond the treatment of emotional disturbances.
- This therapy is usually adopted in diseases linked to psychological problems, situations involving an emotional component. We show that, in addition, the music produces a direct effect on the cells of our body - underscores Capella Márcia, Institute of Biophysics Carlos Chagas Filho, coordinator of the study.Because MCF-7 is doubling every 30 hours, Marcia waited two days between the music session and test their effects. In this period, 20% of the sample died. Among the surviving cells, many lost their size and granularity.

The search result is puzzling even to Marcia. The composition of "Atmospheres", the Hungarian György Ligeti caused effects similar to those registered with Beethoven. But the "Sonata for two pianos in D Major" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most popular music therapy had no effect.
- It was strange, because this sonata causes something known as the "Mozart effect", a temporary increase in spatial-temporal reasoning - considering the researcher. - But we were happy with the result. We believed that the symphony would cause metabolic changes only, not the death of cancer cells.
"Atmospheres", unlike the "Fifth Symphony" is a contemporary composition, characterized by the absence of a melodic line. Why, then, two different tracks that have caused the same effect?
Coupled with a team that includes a professor at the School of Music Villa-Lobos, Marcia, now seeks to answer this by dividing the music into parts. It may be that the effect has not been the whole work, but specifically of a rhythm, a tone or intensity.
In April, exposure to samba and funk
When you can identify what killed the cells, the next step will be to build a particular sound sequence for the treatment of tumors. The path to this tune will go through other genres. Starting next month, researchers will test the effect of samba and funk on tumor cells.
- We do not know music composer and what we use. The amount of sound combinations that we can study is immense - the researcher says.
Another avenue of research is to investigate whether the symphonies caused another type of effect in the body. For now, only renal cell tumor were exposed to music. Only in the second group was registered a change.
The survey also provided a strange conclusion to cell cultures. As it was proved that the effect of music goes beyond the emotional component, there may be a difference between listening to it with surround sound or headphone.
- Partial results suggest that with the headset, we are benefiting from the emotional effects and neglecting the direct consequences, such as those observed with the experiment - Marcia reveals.

The Secrets of Dr Zahi Hawass and The Mysteries of Ancient Egypt

For many years people have contemplated the mysteries of what the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx has to offer. No one really knows what it was built for, or why people worked so hard to make such huge structures. Was the Sphinx an animal that existed in that time? No one knows for sure. One thing is for sure though, many people have tried to hinder research, and silence people that make discoveries. These people are called the Supreme Council of Antiquities or the SCA. I know what your thinking, how could anyone cover up such discoveries when they could benefit all of humanity by unraveling the secrets of ancient Egypt, and possibly our origins? The answer is simple. Its because the people in power, that have planted this SCA organization, know the real secrets of ancient Egypt. Sure they can't do much when it comes to hiding these huge structures, but they can skew what people know, and spark debate with religious communities, so that people are left arguing over what the meaning of these wonders are.

Dr. Zahi Hawass has been on the Supreme Council of Antiquities since 2002. The SCA has setup a system in which Archeologists must report through "the proper channels" when they make any kind of discovery on the Giza plateau. This is much like the Vatican does when it comes to the subject of extra terrestrials and other findings with their telescope at the Vatican Observatory. They do this because first and foremost they want the truth before everyone else, but not only that, they want to use the truth to spin their own explanations. This is very similar to what the SCA is doing with the mysteries of Egypt. Could it be a Vatican controlled branch? It is very possible, but that is only speculation. Lets stick to the facts. The SCA on record has been responsible for a number of things including: slander, embezzlement, coverups and possibly more that no one knows about because they are a very tight knit organization. Sure they make public announcements but it has nothing to do with the truth. This has been proven in a number of news publications. Hawass is the untouchable ring leader of this group. The Supreme Council of Antiquities claims that it is an organization setup for the conservation, protection, and regulation of all archaeological excavations in Egypt. This to me seems that its basically setup to cover up, and lie about the true secrets of Ancient Egypt. Lets not forget that a lot of ancient magical and occult practices are rooted in ancient Egypt. If these secret society like goons know of such power, you best believe they aren't going to share that knowledge with the likes of you. Dr. Hawass is more of an administrator of this organization than he is a true archaeologist. One could say that if he was more of an archaeologist then he wouldn't be much of a useful administrator to the SCA. Dr. Zahi Hawass is a very controversial figure because he has been caught in bold face lies before. One of these lies was where he attended school. A. Robert Smith has said on record that he got Dr. Zahi Hawass a scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania for Egyptology. He got him a scholarship through a board member that was in ARE (Association for Research and Enlightenment). Hawass has denied this claim publicly even though it is a fact that he really did attend the University of Pennsylvania with a scholarship. Did he really think reporters and journalists wouldn't do the due diligence on this one? You know what I say, once a liar always a liar. Who knows what else he has lied about. It is obvious it doesn't bother him in the slightest to tell the most ridiculous lies ever. How did he benefit from saying he didn't go to the University of Pennsylvania? I believe that is very strange. The Association of Research and Enlightenment (ARE) is very interested in the Giza plateau because it is believed that a "Hall of Records" is hidden underground near the Sphinx that holds the secrets of the lost civilization of Atlantis. This claim was made by a man named Edgar Cayce in the 1920s.

The Association of Research and Enlightenment is just another organization. The controllers of this organization is ARCE (American Research Center in Egypt). Surprised? You shouldn't be after all here in the United States we do have the all seeing eye and pyramid without a capstone on the back of our 1 dollar bills. You best believe that the Freemasons are well connected and seated within this organization. When doing research on this I suggest researching the agenda of ARCE, because ARE is a division of that organization. If you talk to people within the government of Egypt, they all hate Hawass. He has been flattered and corrupted by the American Research Center in Egypt. Hawass is their puppet. He furthers their agenda, and he helps to keep the secrets of ancient Egypt to the organization. According to the ARCE website, they are funded and controlled by the US Department of State. This means that not only do they do scientific functions, but they are also there for political reasons. This is the headquarters for all North American scholars in Egypt.

Dr. Zahi Hawass knows something about the secret chamber below the Sphinx. He doesn't want anyone to find out about it, because it is the legendary "Hall of Records" left by the Atlantis civilization. It has been proven with seismic surveying equipment by a Professor of Geology from Boston. The real chamber is located 25 meters below the Sphinx's left paw. Hawass recently has drilled a hole 10 meters below the Sphinx, and he says he did this because he wanted to protect the Sphinx from becoming more damaged by rising water levels. He used this to discredit the facts about the hidden chamber. Too bad facts cannot be discredited. If he only dug 10 meters under the left paw obviously this isn't far enough. Of course, Dr. Hawass made it perfectly clear that there is no hidden vault under the Sphinx. He obviously is lying and I have the proof in the YouTube videos I am about to show you.

It is obvious that Dr. Zahi Hawass is a plant by secret societies to hide the true secrets of ancient Egypt. His lies are profound, and he acts like what he says is scripture. This is the age of the Internet. Do your own research and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. Dr. Zahi Hawass is a fraud and a puppet of the Freemasons and Association of Research and Enlightenment. Please leave comments and let me know if I have left anything out.

Fukushima nuclear disaster still far from over

The nuclear crisis in Japan is still far from over, "as the center of Fukushima Daiichi continues to release radioactivity into the atmosphere and the sea, said today the Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency, Yukiya Amano. The emergency situation may drag on for weeks if not months. This is the estimate made possible by Amano. "This is a very serious accident in all standards and is not over yet," Amano said in a telephone interview with the newspaper "New York Times," from Vienna.
"We must do more to stop the accident," he said, although noting that this will not be easy because of the conditions in which they work at the plant. Because of the high radioactivity and damage to the central monitoring equipment, the operator TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company) not sure if the cores of the reactors and the fuel rods are used, or not covered by water required for cooling and the end of problems.
There are "areas where we have no information. Neither we nor the Japanese. " Still, Amano asked Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan "total transparency" about the situation of nuclear crisis in Fukushima.

Currently, the biggest concern for Amano, in office since late 2009, focuses on the fuel rods stored in cooling ponds on top of the reactor buildings. The officer confessed to still be concerned about the radioactivity released into the environment.
Water with increasingly high levels of radioactivity is to escape the second reactor to the adjacent building the turbine. However, TEPCO not know where that is coming radioactive water, somewhere inside of the reactor building.
Yesterday, officials of the Central began pumping fresh water into the reactor 1.2 and 3 days after using
corrosive sea water. The officials also recovered the power in the control room of reactor 2, a further step in trying to put to work the cooling system of the plant, suspended since March 11, now only the fourth reactor does not have power.

Did Adolf Hitler escaped from Berlim in 1945? The facts and the doubts

In a exhibition held in Moscow, Russian officials have exposed a piece of a skull that is supposed to be of Adolf Hitler, who allegedly committed suicide on April 30, 1945. Over the years the disclosure of some facts, the publication of some works of credible and reputable researchers access to the alleged forensic evidence saved by the Russians meant that if you opened the door on the theory that Adolf Hitler did not in fact died in Berlin in 1945 . In fact as you will see later in the official version of events leaves many doubts as to its veracity.

Hitler's skull belongs to woman?

I invite you to reed the official version of the death of Adolf Hitler below.

The final moment
On April 29, was the day of the final meeting. General Weidling, military governor of Berlin, and commander of the LVI Panzer Corps, also raised the possibility of an attempt to escape through the Soviet lines, but dissuaded Hitler. Had neither troops nor equipment or ammunition to any type of operation. The option was to stay and die!
The Führer then formally saluted of the closest people that have followed im so far. those who were in the bunker reacted in an unexpected way. Many, after putting records on the phonograph, began to dance and happily got along with others, as if a crushing weight, suddenly, had been lifted off them. The allure of sorcerer that Hitler exercised over them ceased as if by magic.
After lunch, on April 30, locked up with Eva Braun in his chambers. There was only one shot. When the close colaboraters entered they found him with his head shattered by a bullet and the gun lying on the lap. Opposite him, in the languor of dead, Eva Braun, with no visible injuries. She ingested cyanide, a very powerful poison. It was 15:30 hours! Quickly the two bodies, were wrapped in a tarp, removed to the courtyard and, with the help of 180 gallons of gasoline, fired, a vigorous pyre. Around them, a silent fascist salute paid them the ultimate tribute.

Suposed last foto of Adolf Hitler in the Bunker on the day of its dead

On May 2, the last German defenders of Berlin capitulated before the Soviets. The Red Army entered the bunker where Hitler's were in retreat since January 17. They found the charred bodies of Joseph Goebbels, his wife Magda and their six children who had been poisoned. In the same place, the corpse of a man with a mustache, made the soldiers believe for a moment that was Hitler. In a detailed observation, concluded it was a lookalike .. Arose the suspicion that Hitler had fled, eliminating its double.

This body was discovered by the Russian contingent in Berlin and assumed to be Adolf Hitler. It is actually Gustav Weler, Hitler’s doppelganger (body double), who was executed with a gunshot to the forehead.

Doubts about the death of Hitler would last for decades. Two charred bodies were buried and found in a crater three feet from the door of the bunker. Secret autopsies are done to the bodies that were supposed to be those of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, who would have committed suicide moments after getting married. The obscure operations of the Soviets and the omission of facts, had created doubts about the death of Hitler. For over a decade the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), service of American intelligence, undertook a hunt around the world, chasing false information that said that Hitler was living with a new face in the United States, Japan, Brazil, Colombia, and further investigated the hypothesis, Argentina. Unaware of autopsies, Stalin himself believed that the Nazi leader was alive. The final conclusions would only end with the Soviet Union in 1991, when secret documents were presented to the world. In 2000, the top of a skull, attributed to Hitler, was the attraction of an exhibition held in Moscow to commemorate the 55 years since the end of World War II. Some historians have doubted the authenticity of the skull, which they said could only be confirmed through DNA analysis. Legends, lies, obscure facts, the death of Hitler was a disappointment for the Allies, who had no visible body of the dictator for public viewing. Hitler's death left many suspicions and misunderstandings. Hitler, the man who for decades had become the most feared and powerful of the world could still be alive.

Mystery Quest - Hitler`s Escape

Here I leave a few lines of an excellent book on this subject that I advise everyone to read

"Hitler's Escape There always have been doubts as to Hitler's alleged suicide in his bunker in Berlin on April 30, 1945. The most authoritarian doubter was the Russian Dictator Joseph Stalin who was convinced that Hitler escaped to Spain in April of 1945. We now have a serious and well researched book by Ron T. Hansig entitled "Hitler's Escape" in which he makes a very convincing case that Stalin was correct in his statements to his western Allies in 1945, telling them that Hitler (and Eva Braun) were still alive. One of Hansig's starling revelations is, that the man present in the last days of April inside the bunker was, in reality a double of Hitler. There even is a photograph of the corpse of the double taken by Russian investigators.

Hitler's death, at the end of World War II, assumed to be by his own hand, remains unproven. This assumption was the result of, what many conceive as, a conspiracy by the Western Powers, bowing to political pressures and to fight nazism, to come up with Hitler's suicide story. This then would explain Hitler's disappearance from Nazi Germany after Germany's defeat.

Even if one takes the submitted Russian report on Hitler's autopsy at face value, there still remains the fact that there was no trace of the corpse of Eva Braun, Hitler's mistress and later wife. This alone disproves the double-suicide theory now part of German history.

Based on the well-documented revelations, this book can rightfully be called "the biggest detective story of the twentieth century".

In 1952, Dwight D. Eisenhower said: "We have been unable to unearth one bit of tangible evidence of Hitler's death. Many people believe that Hitler escaped from Berlin." When President Truman asked Joseph Stalin at the Potsdam conference in 1945 whether or not Hitler was dead, Stalin replied bluntly, 'No.' Stalin's top army officer, Marshall Gregory Zhukov, whose troops were the ones to occupy Berlin, flatly stated after a long thorough investigation in 1945: "We have found no corpse that could be Hitler's." The chief of the U.S. trial counsel at Nuremberg, Thomas J. Dodd, said: "No one can say he is dead." Major General Floyd Parks, who was commanding general of the U.S. sector in Berlin, stated for publication that he had been present when Marshall Zhukov described his entrance to Berlin, and Zhukov stated he believed Hitler might have escaped. Lt. Gen. Bedell Smith, Chief of Staff to Gen. Eisenhower in the European invasion and later Director of the CIA, stated publicly on Oct. 12, 1945, "No human being can say conclusively that Hitler is dead." Col. W.J. Heimlich, former Chief, United States Intelligence, at Berlin, stated for publication that he was in charge of determining what had happened to Hitler and after a thorough investigation his report was: "There was no evidence beyond that of HEARSAY to support the THEORY of Hitler's suicide." He also stated, "On the basis of present evidence, no insurance company in America would pay a claim on Adolph Hitler." Nuremberg judge Michael Mussmanno said in his book "Ten Days to Die," "Russia must accept much of the blame [to the extent that it still exists] that Hitler did not die in May 1945." However, Mussmanno STATED that he interviewed Hitler's personal waiter, his valet, his chauffeur, his two secretaries, pilots, top generals, etc., and they all 'agreed' perfectly that Hitler committed suicide. He said they could not have gotten together afterward and made up a story that agreed in perfect detail without one flaw anywhere, so they must be telling the truth and he was absolutely convinced that Hitler committed suicide.

We are almost certain that the story we want to sell over the death of Adolf Hitler is a hoax, if so, if his death didnt happened  that day to where was he supposed to escape and how?

Now focus on the facts that we consider evidence that Adolf Hitler didnt died in Berlin in 1945

-The Gestapo chief Heinrich Mueller told his US CIC interrogators in 1948, that he arranged Hitler's escape from Berlin and that Hitler together with Eva Braun flew to Barcelona, Spain on April 26th, 1945.
-Soviet Marshall J. Stalin in 1945 told many Allied Leaders that Hitler escaped from Berlin.
-There never was an identifiable corpse of Adolf Hitler nor of Eva Braun.
-The whole suicide story of Hitler rests solely on the testimony of four loyal Nazis.
-The Russians found the buried (and un-burned) corpse of the double of Adolf Hitler near the bunker

If in fact Adolf Hitler managed to escape from Berlin in 1945 a question apears, HOW? For years i read many different theories most of which do not deserve much credibility but remain a few who actually opens the door to the possibility that this issue is something real.

Theory 1 The evasion Tunnel

We will start by the theory of the escape tunnel and consequent escape by U Boat to Argentina, Antarctica or the Moon.
In fact there is a real possibility have been an escape route in the underground of Berlin,
integrating Germania project (Project for the World's great new capital to be raised after the final great victory of the Reich),

The Germania project
were part of the project several tunnels coming in and out from Berlin that would integrate massive highways, these tunnels would reach 8000 km in extent and there are news of that at the date of fall of Berlin had already been built about 800 km that would in fact make an excellent escape route, you are going to see in the following documentary that these tunnels exist and have been hidden from the general public, thanks to some intrepid archaeologists today we are raising the tip of the veil on this issue.
You can see a related news from Reuteurs "Tunnels show Hitler's megalomaniac vision" just clik here

Hitler's Underground Lair

The 1996 film The Empty Mirror shows Hitler in the underground bunker where he and his clan of loyal backers strive to outlast the destruction of the Third Reich. It is a fictional drama set within the scope of a delusional fantasy; that attempts to explore a psychotic scenario surrounding Adolf Hitler. He interacts with others, among them children, to whom he shows his Welthauptstadt Germania, saying that it was to be made for them.

From 1934 on, the city planners and architects of the Third Reich were building large representative structures, wherein the extent of the underground levels surpassed all previous buildings. A typical example can be seen in the extension of the Reich bank with its three underground floors and the largest safe in Germany. Also the Tempelhof airport, then the biggest building in the world, has in addition to an underground train connection, over 4.3 kilometres of traversable supply canals wherein the entire infrastructure of the building is housed.
In order to prepare Berlin for the 1936 Olympic Games, construction began in 1934 on north-south tunnel of the S-Bahn. For this large project, the new rulers were able to make use of plans from the 1920s. The project was also used successfully for propaganda purposes, in that with one stroke thousands of workers were able to be employed, who dug the trench more or less by hand. Slogans like: “we thank the Fuehrer that are building here” were hung above the construction site.

Berlin maps with the tunnels that were operacional in 1945

The network of subway and city transit line tunnels could be used for covered movements by both friendly and enemy troops. In case of necessity they could be blocked at various points by setting off explosive charges that had already been planted. In the course of the battle the city transit line tunnel under the Landwehr Canal was blown up, after which it filled with water. It could not be determined at whose orders this measure was carried out. With the blowing up of the Ebert Bridge (east of the Weidendamm Bridge) the city transit line tunnel there was also destroyed, although this was apparently unintentional. Because of these and other explosions, water flowed into large parts of the subway and city transit line tunnels in the heart of the city.
It could not be proven that any appreciable loss of life resulted from the flooding of these tunnels, but it can be seriously doubted that it was justified by military necessity.
The tunnel leading from the Zoo railroad station (Bahnhof Zoo) to Ruhleben was heavily used by troops and civilians trying to break out toward the west.

Theory 2 The escape by aircraft

It search for means of escape from Berlin at the end of the war comes without doubt the mysterious flight out of Berlin in a light aircraft of
German pilot Hanna Reitsch that flew a small plane in and out of Berlin at least as late as 4/26/45 so even at the end of the Reich it was possible to escape from Berlin.

Born in Hirschberg, Silesia, (now Jelenia Góra, Poland) Hanna Reitsch became Germany's leading woman stunt pilot and later chief test pilot for the Luftwaffe. She worshipped Hitler and the Nazi ideology and became the only woman to win the Iron Cross (first and second class). Hanna Reitsch spent three days in the Bunker just before Hitler's suposed suicide on April 28, then flew out with the newly appointed Chief of the Luftwaffe, General Robert Ritter von Greim, who's orders were to mount a bombing attack on the Russian forces who were now approaching the Chancellery and the Führerbunker. Hanna Reitsch survived the war and died on August 24, 1979 in Frankfurt, from a heart attack. Von Greim was arrested and while awaiting trial committed suicide in a Salzburg hospital on the 24th of May, 1945.
Of course, this pilot would undoubtedly someone indicated to remove Hitler out of Berlin, or she or another because there were at least four excellent pilots in the bunker on the last days, three of them disappear forever during the fall of Berlin, is here so open the second possibility of escape ... the airway and then Uboat.

Posted Image

many researchers say that Hanna Reitsch took off downwind in her Fi 156 Storch, from the Tiergarten adjacent to the Führerbunker in Berlin on 28 April 1945, then flew Hitler and Eva Braun to Norway, where they joined a flotilla of submarines that sailed to Argentina or the Antartica
Others believe she took them to Jugoslavia, then under the military governorship of Sepp Dietrich head of the Waffen SS, who arranged for their secure tenure in that country, whence they left for Argentina in 1947.
